I thought this old mansion, built in 1904, had the same feeling as a monastery, or mission. It presented interesting designs in its architecture and was filled with cool little spaces like this porch. What got me about this scene was the shards of warm sunlight shining across the covered porch. I purposely left out a of lot detail to emphasize the effects of light in this space.
