This is the road that goes from Sunset Crater to the Wupatki Monument, outside of Flagstaff, Arizona. The desert just went on and on and faded into the sky. Stunning! Up here I got a real sense of how vast the desert is. It's a really beautiful sight to behold. On a side note, this is the greatest, most perfect road I have ever been on.
