Sometimes, scenes just call out to be painted. Locket Meadow was filled with these. In this painting, I wanted to capture all the aspects of this alpine environment rather than focus in on one part, like I did in the second painting, "Aspens at Locket Meadow". It was such a blessing to be in this place, this little mountain oasis. It deserved to painted.
